Canadian Jewish Congress (CJC) is a member of a family of national Jewish organizations that come under the umbrella of the United Israel Appeal Federations Canada and that are supported by Jewish Federations across the country.  Specifically, Canadian Jewish Congress is part of a group of advocacy agencies that work with the Canadian Council for Israel and Jewish Advocacy (CIJA).

CJC’s mandate focuses on domestic-related matters such as fighting antisemitism, as well as non-Israel-related international matters such as ending the genocide in Darfur.  While partner organizations, in particular the Canada-Israel Committee, lead on Israel-related matters, we provide CIC with support as requested.
